Ive been working on a bunch of stuff lately for the Highway Collective. First up was their web site which has now gone live (You can see it HERE), and then I did 4 new T-shirt graphics for them. All of the designs we vector illustrations, and if was pretty fun working with a limited colour pallet for each design. Three of the four designs are single colour prints, with only one being a two colour print. I will add all the illustrations to my portfolio shortly, but for now you can see some samples after the jump. MORE

The Highway Collective is a group of Volkswagen enthusiasts that Im involved with. There are tons of horrible T-shirts out there with VW’s on them but we wanted something a little more toned down but fresh at the same time. We decided to print up some shirts of our own and they turned out to be a huge success. Below are some of the prints.

This is a web site design I did for the Highway Collective. The purpose of the site was to keep people updated on what the group is doing, show off the merchandise, and also perform as an online mag for people to follow events etc. I built the site around a classic “WordPress” layout, and incorporated elements that visually communicated the attitude and up beat feel of the Highway Collective. The site is currently being coded, and as soon as its up I will post links.

This was just a fun job I took on for a friend of mine. He wanted a tattoo and asked me to design it for him. I really enjoy working with typography so had a lot of fun putting this one together. I got a bit carried away with all the decorative elements, and by the time I was done my buddy thought it was a bit over the top for him. I still really enjoyed doing it though, so thought Id put it up here in any case.
